Depends how deep? Never hurts to try.

A detailer once told me, if you can feel the scratch with your finger nails, it’s too deep to buff out.

Yeah, in that second photo it looks like the scratch goes all the way through the paint. That's kinda deep ....

Don't know... i'm thinkin you cut too deep and removed more material than intended. Could just be me though?
