I get it I have dealt with customers like you in the past.. Looking to stick someone else with the bill, you ran up... Step it up man and take responsibility for yourself, its your window and you broke it.. Your the kind of person that gets a chip in the windshield or a tiny scratch in your paint and want to blame the world for it so you don't have to pay..... Sometimes its hard to be a man and say "its my fault"... Step it up and stop looking to blame it on the shop owner......
Haha, you're F.O.S IcePrick. Your mind is fast and inaccurate at judging people. I've already said twice that I don't think they're responsible. In fact, I told the owner yesterday I don't think they're responsible b/c it was already chipped when I brought it in. I did refute the notion "that even windshield wipers would've caused it" and did show some disappointment that nobody thought it was suceptible to cracking when heat is applied on a chilly day. I was not rude or aggressive and we simply agreed to another discussion on Monday.
I agree that the crack would've propagated this winter anyway and/or the chip should've been repaired prior to tinting. All I'm saying is that if several forum members knew I was asking for trouble don't you think that people who do this everyday for a living should've known and possibly mentioned something just to cover their ass if nothing else? Also, they ****** up my rearview mirror, there is a sizable scratch on the passenger side window tint, and appear to have almost applied tint on a dirty window. When all this is taken into account I question the overall competence level of the staff and this is the reason why many of you do your own work when practical.
So, for last time, I do not think the shop is responsible for my broken windshield. I posted on the forum to get an idea of what others' think and I have demonstrated respect for your opinions and believe you are correct.
