Broken Sunroof

So my 2013 Raptor that has 40,000 miles and I've had for less than 3 years had the sunroof break last week. The dealer wants $2,300 to replace the tracks and sunroof. 6hrs of labor and 2 - 3 days in the shop. The parts alone are $1,149.15 this is total ********!

I've already contacted Crystal and I'm waiting on her response. She going to see what she can do on her end.

Has anyone got a different quote from a dealer for the parts and labor?

I hope so. My ******** put too much faith in Ford's quality and I didn't think I needed an extended warranty. If any of you guys have a sunroof, I'd get an extended warranty before 36,000 miles. I'm pissed!

Yeah that blows.

However, on the plus side, we just did a panoramic sunroof for the ****** up tracks and the assembly is about $4,500 installed

I wonder how much it's cost to take it out and weld a piece of sheet metal over it then Linex the roof.

Line-X or vinyl wrap it.

Had mine replaced under ESP that pretty much paid for the ESP right there.

SCREW - panoramic sunroof

I've never seen any panoramic sunroof last... Now throw hardcore offroading into the mix...

@RaptorVette ask them for the old mech and broken plastic parts and mail me the plastic bits? I may be able to make cheep replacements if someone will send them originals to me.
