Crystal opened a case with the Regional Customer Service Manager. I'll let you guys know if that goes anywhere. I should be able to get it to the local guys shop for the repair sometime next week.

Mine is at the dealership now for the sunroof and is still under warranty. However comma they have to take photos to send to ford to decide if they will fix it under warranty. They are worried that they will kick it back due to my mods. Because we all know shocks cause the sun roof to break.

Keep us in the loop, Westside Offroad. I'm here if you need my assistance.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help, RaptorVette. You know how to reach me. :)

Thanks again for your help Crystal!

The regional Ford Cust. Service Manager called me back this morning and Ford is willing to pick up half of the ~ $2,100 repair bill. Now why couldn't the dealership just say that in the first place? $1,000 and change is a lot more reasonable than over $2,000! What happened to honesty? I can't believe businesses can get away with ripping people off without any penalty.

I'm paying an honest person and honest amount for the work. $120 for the parts and $500 labor for this type of repair and 1 day's work of work is fair. Ford dealerships are full of shit!

So for all of you guys that don't have a choice and have to go to the dealership for this repair, Ford can and is willing to do it for a little over $1,000!
