Well I cleaned off the MAF but the truck ran exactly the same. It was worth a shot. I'll post up when I hear something. Truck has just over 37k miles and I don't rag it out bc I need it for work everyday. Damn the luck.

Step 1: Open the hood and locate your air box. If you can't find it...please stop right now and have a friend clean your MAF for you.

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji379] ROFL!! Sorry this had me in tears. But wow every 6months? Have to get to it [emoji29] thxs Bill.

Lol I got a good laugh out of that one too. I've never cleaned it that often either but I drive in a very dusty environment everyday. It's something that I'll be sure to stay on top of.

Unfortunately the dealer still hasn't got to my truck after its sat there for a week. They say that it'll for sure get checked out on Monday but we'll see [emoji849]

Oh and I'm pretty disappointed that it happened just after 37k miles bc my bumper to bumper just went out. Damn the luck!

Fortunately this was covered under the powertrain warranty but I really needed it back for work. I'll have to call and ask if they checked for any internal damage. I'm glad it was covered but the dealer here won't bother calling if it's covered by warranty. They'll just repair and call when it's ready for pick up.

If there is some internal damage, I wonder how long until I find out [emoji51][emoji27]

Yea just run it through the dealer just incase down the road. Good luck. Did not know gas engines sound like this when the spring breaks. Just like Diesel engines when they drop a valve! Hey out of curiosity he did it puff out smoke of the back?
