I did my 2019 at 5,000 miles as I've always done on new vehicles.

I keep the rpms and speed varying for the first 1,000 miles, open it up a little more the next 2,000 miles, the last 2,000 miles I push the rpms all the way up to red line in higher gears then after the 5,000 miles oil change I'll run it hard if I so desire but I usually don't really push it hard very often.

I've done this on all my vehicles and motorcycles and all the engines performance have been very strong without issues.

I know everyone does it differently and that's fine but it works great for me.

My engine and new transmission is running really well and very strong at the moment at 30,000 miles.

The owners manual said to break it in for 1000 miles, that's what I did. I made sure I had no prolonged steady rpm running, vary speeds, no high speeds, no high rpm's. The oil was changed at 900 miles because of a timing cover crack, or else I would have changed it at 1000 for the first change.

I plan on keeping this truck a long time, so the old, "Who cares, just beat the crap out of it immediately" routine does not fly for me. If you are going to spin your vehicles every year or two, then just rip it from day one.

I did my first oil change at 2.5K miles second at 5K miles . Now I will do every 5K going Fwd. Thinking of going to full synthetic when I hit 10K miles. Anyone know if full synthetic is really any better for our engines then a synthetic-blend if were changing it every 5K miles ???

Synthetic helps with heat friction, wear ect. It is better for turbo vehicles ect. I personally would not follow fords oil change recommendations surprisingly(some vehicles are 10,000 miles) I do every 5-6k and good to go... And please don't make me discuss issues with FRAM filters. Motorcradt filters, wix, napa, or Mobil 1 and a good oil and just be done with it.

agreed, Mobil 1 and Mobil 1 filter all you need. I even used mobil 1 in my lawnmower and string trimmer. theres a reason high performance cars all use that stuff.
