Brake lines to calipers

Ran in to a guy the other day that said a lot of Owners are having issues with the lines leading to the calipers. Is this true? Can't seem to find any info on it in the forums. He said his went out at about 50k.

I have a 2011 SCAB with 71K miles.
No issues.

He may be referring to the vacuum lines that control the IWE at the hubs (4x4 engagement).
