Lol, so many different stories. Is there a specific camera or sensor we can identify so that the first person to take possession of a Gen 3 can verify if it is there?

Am I the only person in the world that thinks this option is just dumb? I’m not hating. If you like it, cool. I just don’t like it.

Can I get an amen????

lol its the future, I think it's a great feature and they don't make you get the software if you don't want it. Might be cooler to see in person though (i've never been in a Tesla)

Yes, it’s in all the videos and interior picture available, there is a camera behind gloss black plastic on the a pillar and above the screen on the passenger side. Also shows up on the interior 360 view.

I plan on using it daily during my commutes where traffic dictates pretty much everything. Sport mode and manual driving everywhere else. At some point all HOV lanes are going to be relabeled "autonomous vehicles only", mark my words.

I respect your viewpoints (and I’m not hating), but that’ll never be me. It is a cool feature, but no one drives me around. Everyone thinks they know the future, but no one knows nothing.

Yup you don’t have to pay for the software upgrade for the hands free. Although we’ve already seen it posted that you can make it hands free with an ankle weight on the steering wheel without the 600$ payment

There are a lot of conflicting data points. It is not clearly listed in the build and price. People saying it is included are using anecdotal information from their dealers. We all know how much dealers know...

My main concern is the extra 6" of width of the Raptor. I am concerned that this would make it more difficult to have assisted driving as there is less room for error.

I hope the Raptor is getting Blue Cruise, but I will wait until it is available to believe it. I am not going to buy another F-150 just to have this feature, but I would be cool to have. Love it in Teslas.

Dont be concerned. If they can program a car to drive by itself you really think they can’t program it to recognize its 6” wider? It’s the same software on all platforms they just program it for the vehicle size.

Obviously enhanced cruise control and full self-driving are features that all cars will inevitably have -- to think otherwise is a little short sighted. The question is how many decades until self-driving is mandatory. Maybe not in the next 30 years, but long term you'll need a special license to manually drive a car.

For now, I appreciate that the feature exists and can simply not use it if I want to drive myself. Win-win. But I hate driving long distances on the highway and could see it being a huge help for road trips.
