Yeah I've heard treo subs. But over JL? No thanks. Treo kinda reminds me of audiobahn back in the day; a lot of hype at first, sound good at first and cheap, then they turn to crap and don't hold up. Just my 2 cents though.

the higher end treo woofers are specifically designed for spl competitions. when i first read your post about using 4 jl 12w7 woofers my first thought was why.... the jl is a very clean sounding woofer not specifically for spl but for quality sound, so im kind of gettig a mixed idea as to how you want your system

have you looked into treo engineering for subs?

I have two 12" SSp's under the back seat in mine. They are in a ported box and they friggin POUND. Running the 2000.1 SSX, those are some amazing subs/amps.
