A circuit short DTC can be a faulty control module, damaged circuit, or faulty actuator.Since you’ve already replaced the actuator, you’re down to the module or circuit. Do you have a basic volt meter? Checking the circuit is not very difficult.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

Making it so hard to hold onto this vehicle. I once again have lost another actuator (temp blend) and wasn't able to repair previous (mode blend). This time driverside temp control is down on the coldest day of the year, and I've previously replaced passenger side temp control. So I'll be ripping out the console, bending the duct work and breaking the actuator tab as per makuloco shortcut fix here, as opposed to removing dash and draining coolant and purging coolant system. Good times.

If I had this repair each individual time at the dealer it would now have accumulated about $7500.

Is there maybe an option to go back to the old heater cable design?
