Gorilla nuts are good. Another thing I remember about the ProComp is the powder coat was so thick on some of them that the lug key didn't fit and I had to bang it on which scraped them.

The Pro-Comp lugs I received looked exactly like the Gorilla splined lug nuts available at a local dealer, including the splined socket & box they were packaged in.
Wouldn't surprise me if they are manufactured by the same company.
I just couldn't see paying $35+ extra for the same product

So just my opinion on using not stock lug nuts on stock wheels.

I'd be willing to bet that after the whole firestone exploder deal, that Ford puts more money into researching tires and wheels than anything else. I promise you that a stock Raptor wheel will hold up to more damage than most things aftermarket, I have some experience here.

All that being said, I doubt that they are using wide acorn lug nuts just to fill in the hole...

All I can tell you is that if you measure the contact patch (the area the nut actually touches the conical seat) & you measure the aftermarket lug nuts, they are the same in that respect. In the fact that the rims are hub centric, the only function of the lugs is to maintain the contact between the rim & hub, where all the strength is.

Pull one of your stock lug nuts off & examine the shiny contact patch & you will see what I am referring to.

My beadlock rims just arrived from ford racing. I would like a set of those black splined lugs only if they are the correct fit.

other than that, tell me I can can use my stock lugs for the new rims.

You should be fine using the stock lugs on the new rims. If you like, you can send me a private message and I will help you get the black spline lug kit.
