So the recently closed thread calling the Truck a PoS did highlight one complaint I had this weekend after washing my 2020 the first time. The black gloss pillars already have micro scratches all over them. I used a self wash and dried with a soft towel. How are people handling these? Is there a way to buff it out easily? Read some people get it wrapped. Is this a DIY project?

Most apply either a wrap to it. I have seen black (makes it look new and stock), carbon fiber and clear. There was a guy, I think on the FROG group on FB that was selling them already pre-cut. Go to Ford Raptor Owners Group on Facebook and type in B pillar wraps. He sells them for like 70 bucks ready to go. His screen name is Terry WC

I had minor hairline scratches when I received my new, and it had not been washed yet. I had the ceramic coater buff out the scratches and apply two coats of ceramic coating. I’ve since watched it a couple times and absolutely zero scratches have returned. I believe the key, just like any other paint, is to buff out all the scratches and then code it with a wax, sealant or my case ceramic coating

Thanks I was looking into getting it ceramic coated. I'll make sure to request that.

You’ll love it, very easy to keep the Raptor clean and I had the underside coated with Nyalic. Also, be sure to ask them to take off your wheels and ceramic coat as well as brake calipers

Buffed them out then added Xpel over. Zero scratches in over a year. I like the matte look too.
