Black, Atlas, and Antimatter - Picking 2022 Color

I have seen Atlas Blue and don’t care for it. Black does look good on the Gen 3, but AMB gives you the appearance of black while also being dark navy blue. My dealer had a AMB 37 sitting on the lot over the weekend. As I drove up, it looked black, but as I got closer it was AMB. Pictures really don’t do it justice.

As a disclaimer, my Gen 3 will be AMB.

How do you get in it?

I was on the fence with amb and black. Went black but the amb will look great

I'd go with Atlas. Black and AMB requires too much work to keep looking good.

The more people have talked about Antimatter, the more I'm leaning that way. I was thinking Atlas, but the more I look at pics of it the more it seems like a normal F-150 color to me. It is brighter and more bold, which I like, but Antimatter seems to be a more interesting color. Wish Ford had more non-metalic color offerings, like Lead Foot or Avalanche.

AB is an amazing color...it is a full-time hobby to take care of....If you are easy going and don't really care if the truck is dirty or clean, etc....GET AB---in person it is awesome....I see you have owned leadfoot....very easy color paint to own and care for...AB not so much! Cheers

Like the others mentioned, AB is amazing in person and I was on the fence between black and AB. I went with black since the order I put a deposit on was black but I definitely could live either. That’s said I’ve only owned black vehicles, including my gen1, except a 03 Azure Blue Mach1.

Getting ready to place an order. Got a dealer who will do it at MSRP for me. I had a 2018 in LeadFoot and loved that color but it's not on the manu for 2022. Everything I've seen suggests Antimatter is super dark in most light conditions. Black on black is a cool look but I'd like a bit more pop. Never seen one in Atlas obviously but it looks interesting.

Since I'm totally on the fence I'm thinking I'd go with the one that most people would want, so it has better resale.
