BEWARE of Sirius recurring charges

Not knocking their effort because I have been a Sirius share holder for 3 years now...but when I called last October to renew my yearly subscription I got the "promo" rate of $85 for 12 months. Today I noticed a charge of $157 on my CC statement.

I did not authorize them to retain my credit card information and I did not approve the renewal. I called them right away and they were very helpful.

The man refunded me the $72 and gave me the same price as last year without any hassles. I'm very pleased with their customer service but just keep your eye out for this. I did not receive any mail or email notification of the charge.

I just went through the same thing with them! I have 5 accounts with them and I just noticed they hit one of them for almost twice the amount! As you said, they were very courteous and responsive. Still a pain in the ass though. How many people get zinged by them that don't even notice?!!?

Mines coming up soon, I've been waiting for those ******* to auto charge me. When I renewed the first time I requested to be taken off the auto charge thing, but we'll see.

I have 4 radios with them and soon will be adding another one. That's a ton of money just to listen to the radio but I can't stand local radio stations.

They got me too last year on my other vehicle, same deal just charged me full price with no authorization. I called and it was resolved much the same way yours was.

no. that's 2 bucks a month or something. you don't need it, trust me. i thought i had to have it but my phone fills the gap nicely.

Thats true but I still have the stupid phone... will be getting a smart one soon. I can deal w/ the 85 but they havent come down yet....have to wait like my last one I guess.
