I use my truck bed often and need access to the full bed occasionally. ie. ATV loaded up. I have an old snap on tonneau cover on my 06 F-150, been a great cover. However, I know there are some great options out there now. What removeable tonneau cover has worked best for you all?

Thanks!

I like the hardcover that came from Ford, a rebranded Extang Solid Fold 2.0. Shockingly simple to install and remove. Just two wingnuts and it is free within 30 seconds. Pretty light too and something I can remove and install by myself. More secure to intrusion than a backflip, but it won't flip up to expose the full bed the way the backflip does. I also like how it sits on top of the bed and doesn't require rails and drains and when I remove it, there is nothing left behind.

I use the BackFlip and have used them for my last three trucks. Easy to fold up and can be removed with two wing nuts. I can do it myself, but it is easier with help from my wife due to its size...

I am in the market and on the fence about a bed cover as well. Jaz13 would you post a photo of Ford one you are talking about? Thanks

Our biggest selling brand is BAKflip, they flip up and out of the way easily and they are also easily removable if need be.

We offer many brands of bed covers and offer discounts on them as well! Let us know if you would like a quote on anything.

I have the Extang Platinum on mine. I've used that model on all 5 trucks I've owned, starting with a 93 Lightning. I had that one for 10 years and it was still in good condition when I traded in 03.

For looks and easy removal, I chose the Lomax Trifold (also branded as Weathertech Trifold). It’s made of Aluminum, and removes by folding up, retracting 2 spring loaded clips with each hand and lifting out.

If you want a folding cover, all of them remove pretty quickly. Fold up, lift, and you're good to go. Retractable covers are tougher. If you're wanting a removable retractable cover, I recommend the Pace Edwards Switchblade Metal.

We've got all of them in stock and would be happy to go over options and pricing with you!

No offense to jaz, but stay away from the extang. I have it on my 2016, and it's terrible. Dents easily, fades, and the biggest offense: It LEAKS. Like, a lot. If there's any threat of rain, I need to move whatever I happen to have in the bed to the middle and hope it doesn't shift around.

I planned on leaving my golf clubs in the truck bed full time during the summer, but couldn't because of all the water that would get in there.

Not worth the money.
