That Bakflip MX4 looks nice.

No offense to jaz, but stay away from the extang. I have it on my 2016, and it's terrible. Dents easily, fades, and the biggest offense: It LEAKS. Like, a lot. If there's any threat of rain, I need to move whatever I happen to have in the bed to the middle and hope it doesn't shift around.
I planned on leaving my golf clubs in the truck bed full time during the summer, but couldn't because of all the water that would get in there.
Not worth the money.
Sounds like you have a setup problem. I've driven through monsoons and not had problems like you describe. A few oz of water might have dripped in under the worst conditions, but nothing that bothers me when it comes to suitcases, bike or ski gear. And if I was motivated, it would be easy to fix those spots. If you want water tight, a one piece cover is the way to go.
is f150 bed the same size as the raptor? I am looking for a cover, but want to make sure of the dimensions.
Nah, it's just bad design. The seals are crap (there are gaps), and there are no channels for drainage. Fwiw, it's generally much drier when I'm driving through rain, but if it's sitting (like my truck does 98% of the time), the bed will be soaked at every corner and the wheel wells.
I had it professionally installed, and when I got sick of how much it leaked I had it replaced under warranty. Same issues with the replacement. The installer pretty much admitted the extangs are poorly designed and he doesn't recommend them. But since I purchased it through Ford as part of the truck, I was stuck with it.
I have an MX4 on my Raptor now. Haven't driven it through any inclement weather yet, so I can't comment on weather sealing. But from what I saw installing it, the redundant weather seals (on the rails and on the cover) will be a big improvement over that extang garbage.
Everything is relative. My buddy had the back-flip and hated it and was always commenting on how much he liked my extang. His biggest complaints were of the build quality. The painted thin metal cover scratched and dented super easy and faded badly in the first year. Plus the rubber seals warped and disintegrated on him and he had to replace them multiple times.
Side note, the extang 1.0 used to be made with the same metal exterior, but they switched to the plastic to prevent the denting and fading that the metal is so prone to.
Hopefully, you have better luck with yours. The MX4 is popular, so maybe his horrible experience was unusual.
I don't know about the hard Extang covers, but the relatively cheap snap down Classic Platinum almost never gets any leakage. You really need to force water up into it to get any into the bed. I almost changed to a roll up style this time, but after reading reviews of the many brands and watched videos, it seemed a waste for me to spend 3-4 times as much for a cover that leaks or comes unlatched while driving or dents or peels. If something happens to the vinyl on the Extang, it can be replaced for under $100.Nah, it's just bad design. The seals are crap (there are gaps), and there are no channels for drainage.
