There's just an underlying distaste for the new model. A lot feel like Ford dropped the ball by putting a v6 turbo in our beast and many just don't like the looks of the new truck. I agree!

Those are my thoughts, dont really like the looks, not a fan of the motor, i think the 3.0's are pointless without adjustability, might as well use the old 2.5s. But i do like the interior and some of the "tech".

I like the look. I think the shocks and the decreased weight will make it handle better. I love the interior. The low ride height blows. I'm not digging the reversed shock design. The EcoTurd will probably make this thing feel like a rocket but I'd rather have a giant iron block 6.2. I am first in the list at the dealer so as soon as these order banks open I'll get one ordered up. Maybe a few twin turbo burnouts will make me a believer...

I still don't get why they would decrease the clearance, especially since they're touting increased travel on the suspension.

I wonder if the clearance is the same, but the new body is just more compact and the a-arm mounts are lower, so it makes the whole truck appear lower.

Skid plate is definitely looks lower.

Yeah, the skid plate on the new Raptor mounts lower on the back. It has a steeper angle than the current one and has some depth to it in the rear.
