Alright, Axle Wrap/hop is killing me on my Raptor. Whats the best way to fix this? I also want to make the Raptor better for towing my trailer and Jeep that weighs about 6000 lbs.

Not to step on any vendors toes, but I'm going to try out the Roadmaster Active suspension. I don't offroad as a hobby, but rather have to run alot of rough county roads and across open country for work, so I'm not interested in upgrading springs, etc. when my time is being paid for so I'm in no big hurry! I used the Roadmaster setup on an '08 F-150 and loved it. It is adjustable, so you can run it way loose, with little to no effect on your factory suspension, you can run it way tight and actually lift the rear a bit (harder ride though!), or adjust it for the load as need be. Adjustment is a couple of nuts tightened or loosened above the rear wheels. I don't have it on my '10 5.4 Raptor cuz I hadn't been towing lately, but I'm back working in a travel trailer so I'm putting the Roadmaster on the 2012 Scab I'm getting this week. This option isn't for everyone, but I'm hoping it takes care of my towing issue, and can assist in keeping from bottoming out and causing all the frame issues I keep reading about, just in case I am in a hurry and screw up! I know it helped tremendously with towing and axle hop on my '08, and the ride was not significantly different in my opinion. I will let you know how it works. Oh, by the way, the part for the Raptors is not listed in their application guide, and most retailers won't know about it, but if you contact them directly they will build it to order.

Would the National HD springs allow me to tow more? I'm guessing they must be stiffer than stock?

Deaver can custom make a set for what you want. If you're thinking about Nationals call up RPG.

I think the Raptor would make short work of that unit. Not for off heavy road use.
I used to sell accessories, and put many, many of these on 3/4 & 1 ton trucks hauling heavy goosenecks over rough country roads in southwest Texas. Try pulling a 32 ft. gooseneck full of cattle over a dirt road crossing a dry river bed at 30-45 MPH! They are pretty durable. As for catching big air in them or dogging them offroad, no clue never tried it. As I said, I don't use my truck to offroad for a hobby, but rather to run rough roads where I have to work, so I'm not trying to see how fast I can take this berm or whoop. Just throwing an option out here for him to consider, based on how he uses his truck. Like I said, they have worked great for me in the past and I will let anyone know, who is interested how they work on the Raptor.

I would consider Nationals but 1500 bucks for a pair of springs? Ouch! And $1325 for the Deavers! Why do they cost so much? I could get a decent Pro-Comp Lift for my F-250 with 4 new leaf Springs and shocks for 800 bucks like a year ago or so.

Haha yeah... Us Hummer guys have something called the "Hummer Tax" (sorry Hummer guys for revealing our little secret). Go to a Hummer dealer and give them the Hummer part # and it'll cost twice as much as the Chevrolet part # (same part).

It probably applies to the Raptor as well

Yeah it seems to be the same deal. Deavers for the regular f150 are a good bit cheaper even.
