Will tell you that the National HD's have exceeded all of my expectations. Love the ride improvement as well as the no more bouncing when going over larger bumps for a easy example speed bumps and almost not noticeable. Control going over rough roads is much improved. Will be going to the ranch here this weekend BUT it is very wet so testing will mostly be limited to mud lol!!!

Bottom line best mod I have made as it relates to performance. Going to put some larger tires on replacing the 35x12.50/18 with 37x13.50x18 this weekend when they come in.

I guessing that since National and RPG put a lot of time into testing and developing springs specifically tuned for our trucks would explain a lot. They took a lot of risk into developing what sounds to be a great product for a pretty low volume market. They both need to make a few bucks for they're efforts. Even with what they're charging I can't imagine there's a huge profit in them. Sometimes you just get what you pay for.

I'm researching springs as well, I talked to Wiz and he is running just the Deavers without the ladders and is totally satisfied. As far as I can tell, Deaver vs. National is 6 in one half dozen in the other. If you have a shop you like and they rep for one or the other... that is how I would choose. Unless you're hardcore and want an RPG stage 3 or the similar ADD product, I know RPG was designed for nationals and I think ADD is a Deaver rep if not mistaken. Just my .02

The National Springs are actually $1395.00
When we approached National they were willing to work with us in developing a spring that’s progression and load rating was specific to our vehicles.* Both the Standard Duty and HD duty spring are military double wrapped with 11 thin leafs hand matched to each other.* The arch of the spring was designed so sagging will not become an issue down the road.* We’ve loaded up over 1400 pounds of material in the bed of our old Raptor with Standard Duty Springs, and proceeded to beat the hell out of it off-road the very next day, and they never once sagged on us.
Another thing to keep in mind is that National Spring still uses all US or Canadian steel and hand forms each leaf in house (they are literally beat into shape with heat and a hammer).* National will not source their spring material from over sea’s that is pre-formed and simply bolted together with little regard to fitment and consistency.* Another important fact is the Raptor has dual pins that seat into the axle housing.* Each of these holes needs to be drilled independently and lined up perfectly for each individual leaf totaling 22 holes that have to be spot on.* This is a very time consuming process and is still performed by hand.
Believe me guys, I wish it was as simple as leafs showing up, pre drilled and formed with a simple bolt and go process. Unfortunatly it takes a long time to produced one spring.
As of right now, there is easily over 100,000 collective miles put on Raptor specific National Springs.* To date, we have only had 1 squeaky spring that was taken care of.* I can’t say this enough.* Ben and the rest of the boys at National have done an amazing job.* No matter how hard we push them, they still make sure each spring goes out as perfect as the previous set before it.* It’s no wonder to us why Robby Gordon, Rob MacCachren, Ivan Stewart and others have opted for National Springs to bolt on their race vehicles throughout the years.
Also, stay tuned as we are going to be announcing some really cool news regarding National Springs in the next day or two.

Kinda like buying a $2500 45 Auto and carrying it in a $5 nylon holster because it was CHEAP! Buy an top notch rig, it deserves top notch up-grades. And this AINT my HUMBLE opinion!
