I've got bedrug. Love it

Yes you can use a shovel and then just stray it out... The rugs dont absorb water because it's marine carpet or a top coat/foam for the bedtred.
xBX, do you have a tonneau? If not, how's your bedrug hold up to weathering? Does moisture get trapped underneath it?

Yes I have tonneau but it was under rain for a little and dried up fine. Nope no moisture and if it has this Georgia heat dries it up....

The Bedtred is black! It just looks gray in photo's and it holds up to gravel, rocks, mulch and furniture with more padding to protect the bed then a spray-on. I've shoveled 1 1/2 rocks out of mine swept it then hosed it down. The closed cell foam under the top coating wiil not absorb water. The one thing you can do with a Bedrug or Tred is remove it and have your truck back to stock and you can't do that with a spray on!!!!

there is no reason to be scared of a spray on bedliner!!! however if i was to get something besides linex i would do the bed tred. looks like a pretty cool product. ive always used a rubber bedmat on top of my linex just to save some wear and tear on my linex (gotta still look good even though its been worked hard). on the next truck i think i may try the bed rug bedmat only. looks soft and durable, but when i need to USE my liner it will be there underneath.

I wouldnt recommend the bedmat only. I got it and sent it back... It does not contour as well as the full because it had no zippers on the side plus i can imagine water just sitting under it, again due to the lack of zippers.

The bedrug and bedtred have only one way for debris and water to exit which is out the tailgate... Everything is contained in the drop in liner and nothing can get under to rot out your bed...

yeah if i did it i would do it in addition to the Line-X. i usually have had a rubber mat in the bed, water sat under it but on top of the linex, no big deal.

A Bedtred is about $380. I've played with one in person and it seems a bit flimsy for the money. I think Bedrug is a better value.

every market is different, here in saturated south texas we get roughly $500 for a basic liner over the rails. that cost can vary greatly depending on the region, energy costs, shipping costs, etc. i really hate spitting out prices online just due to those variables.

Which would you prefer if you were running one without a tonneau cover? Bedtred or Bedrug?
