I installed my bedtred the other day and it wasn't as easy as I hoped. The weather was much cooler than it was suppose to be and that made working the bedtred very difficult. I have not applied the velco to the truck yet! I left the backing on the glue side until wammer weather comes our way. I also had to cut the Top four corners of the side panels to fit. They won't tuck under the caps due to a welded side panel lip. It looks great and really doesn't even need the velco but on the edges at the back of the bed. The four tie downs bolt the bedtred down so its not going anywhere.

very nice. i got te same one and had it for a while. you will like a lot. but i know what you mean about how it wasnt as easy as they tell you it would be to install it. looks just like spray on liners but softer on the knees.

All the Bedtreds I see online are for trucks without the factory step. Has anyone installed one the was made for no factory step on one with the factory step? I have a factory step and am leaning toward installing the Bedtred but wanted to make sure it will work before I order one.

I looked at bedtred but my experience has been that moisture gets between the liner and bed and rusts the bed. The product looks cool but I went with line x for that reason.

I'll have to check to see how much moisture gets in it. It's been installed for roughly 8 months now and I'll check it out to see how it is. I thought of line x, which I hear is a great product but went with the bed tread because I can remove it and use it again in a newer ford model. Unless the bed sizes totally change. Was looking down the road to save some money anyways.

Any updates about moisture? Thinking about getting a BedTred but I won't be using a tonneau cover so moisture will be a concern to me.

Well, one thing for sure, a BedTred is gray and ugly. Looks like a faded Rhinoliner. Get LINE-X Premium (or Xtra), it's BLACK and won't fade.

My Bedtred is "black" by all standards, however it's under a cover, so I don't expect it to fade.

It's not *as* black as LineX though.

As far as moisture goes, I would agree that it has some potential to hold moisture under it. If you're running a tonneau, I wouldn't be worried about it though.

Been researching a liner...

My biggest question about the bedtred is: If I want to get a load of mulch or top soil, is it ok to put it on the bedtred? I've used Linex before and I've never had a problem even with a shovel and broom.

Can you do that with a bedtred? Is it cleanable afterwards?

Thanks
Matt

I've got bedrug. Love it

Yes you can use a shovel and then just stray it out... The rugs dont absorb water because it's marine carpet or a top coat/foam for the bedtred.
