Talking with Conner I am under the impression he is going to be making something similar to what is below, but with adjustable rods at one end.

Can we get a poll for who else had experienced this issue too?

Yukon Joe

I was thinking about this today. We should start a poll and see who has the issue with and without frame/bump stop kits.

So far I haven't heard of anyone without a frame kit having the issue.

All the evidence points to frame/bump stop kit and some hard offroading being the culprit.

Interesting that you bring up the fact that people with frame kits seem to be the ones with the problem. That would make sense as the kit allows you to go faster and harder than before so you're just finding that next weak link with the harder impacts.

Edit: I probably need to check my bed when I get home too...

Well my issue was caused by the tire gate and that one jump.....
I had to put the tailgate back because she is going in the shop monday to have the frame fixed along with some sheet metal.

It doesn't look to bad but what you can't see is the passenger side is lower then the drivers.

Mine is the same way. My passenger side is probably 7/16" wide while the driver side is 5/16"

Btw, do you have a frame/bump stop kit installed?

Nice. :) It's probably safe to say you fully compressed the bump stops on that one?

I think the good news is that the spread will only get so bad. However, I'm really hoping we can find the cause and a preventitve measure, and ideally, a correction for the issue.
