Bedliner Question

Would someone mind explaining to me the advantages/disadvantages between a Line-X and Rhino bedliner? Also, pros and cons on spraying the rear wheel wells? Is it mainly considered an aesthetic preference?

Rhino does not do rear wells, will not warranty them. Line-X will, unsure on warranty. I would assume touch ups will be necessary.

Line-X quotes @ $575 for U-Top premium -
@ $450 for the original -
Wells @ $150 -

Rhino quotes @ $425

I put Rhino in my last truck and was completely satisfied for the 11 years I had it. Worth the marginal price increase for Line-X? Thanks for any advice offered.

there pretty much the same but from what i've seen line-x seems to be a better quality. as for wheel wheels it will help quit and protect your wheels while looking good.

I have had both Rhino and Line-x. In my experience the Line-x is a much tougher liner. My Rhino had nicks and gouges, but my Line-x (except for small weld burns that I caused) is still flawless after similar use.

It's totally worth the extra $25 for Line-x. Can't say either way for the premium though. I think you're just paying for fade-proofing there. My Line-x is over a year old now with no fading if that helps.

P.S. both are highly flammable...

I had my wheel wells line-x'ed to protect them from all the mud, road salt, etc. It makes cleanup a lot easier after 4-wheeling, and protects well from rust and corrosion. I've seen trucks (not a Raptor) that were pretty badly rusted there, and several that the bed support rods would be rusted through and broken. Since it's so hard to get all the mud and salt out of there, I wanted the area protected. And it looks a lot better than stock.

I went with bedtred for a bedliner, as it wouldn't scratch up furniture, etc, and wasn't a permanent solution. If I didn't like it later and wanted to get a spray-in, I could. Vice versa is not true.

My vote is on line-x. My friend has an FX4 with a Rhino Liner and it just doesn't have the smooth and clean look of my Line-x.

I just saw Big Brother's build, very nice, and noticed he sprayed the front Ford bumper, the vents and the other black trim. I didn't even think of that. Would you gentlemen recommend doing those as well?
