Oh, I feel for the guys that ordered in July and August. How you don't have your trucks makes NO sense. I am particularly pissed off the past few days though. When I ordered (Dec 5th) I told my sales person that my lease was up in April. he assured me that my order would be filled by the time my lease was up. Yesterday I did my weekly check in on FB with Ford Service and they told me that I was scheduled for production "late march" I thin to my self, That's great news! So, I figured I would verify by calling Ford Performance since we all know how **** poor Ford Service Has been on FB since the switch a few weeks ago. Ford Performance says, Nope, you'r still clean, unscheduled. Now I'm pissed and call my sales person and he said he hadn't heard of any movement on my order. I emailed him the screen shots from Ford Performance ands I haven't heard from him. Someone at Ford needs to loose their job over this roll out. I'm guessing several people need to get fired... I've never seen anything like this from a customer service stand point...

Man, rohardi, I'm sorry to hear about all that. Trust me, I fully comprehend your frustration. I know this will be disputed, but I care not. From my experience, both Ford Service and Ford Performance do not necessarily, by default, have more up to date information than your dealer. Yes, there are some guys I have talked to, privately, on this board, who have said otherwise, and I am thrilled they were able to find help from them. However, again from my experience, if you do not enjoy high blood pressure and the simultaneous rapid development of ulcers, I would steer clear of both entities, and rely on your dealer for the most accurate information available. Again, that is with the hopeful situation that you trust the dealer that you are making rich.

As an example--I honestly don't know why I torture myself...but I guess I like proving a point--I contacted both Ford Service and Ford Performance yesterday. Both told me the same thing--You are still in order processing, unscheduled clean. I told them both, "My dealer gave me a build date of March 20th, about 2 weeks ago. I have a VIN ladies and gentlemen." You know what was funny?? They both had essentially the same reaction to me! They essentially told me to not rely on them anymore, and keep in contact with my dealer. Guess we're no longer friends :win:.

My truck is slated to be be built today according to my dealer and window sticker. Finally!!!!!! Have CF but no BL. Ordered back on Aug 13. Supposedly delivery end Match start April. I really hope it's sooner than 4 weeks but does have to cross the country by rail.

Fantastic news Cobber!! My bet is it will come in sooner than 4 weeks. I've also been told 4 weeks from build date, putting it at April 20th, but I won't be shocked at all to get a call even 2 weeks before that, saying they have my truck sitting there. My '14 Raptor came in spontaneously, a good 2 weeks ahead of the ETA. Paperwork never changed, the truck just suddenly was delivered in the middle of the night, WAY ahead of schedule. So, these projected arrival dates are absolutely not concrete.

I'm trying to get some kind of a schedule together, as I want to unload my '17 Ram Rebel before/when I pick up the Raptor. Have you heard any other news of other Raptors arriving at Gus Johnson? I haven't. Just the one I posted long ago, their first unit on January 28th, the Shadow Black with forged wheels.

Hey Autophanatic, no I haven't heard other than that first one. I remember my guy saying the other 2 didn't have an eta but of course that feels like a couple months ago now. Surely they were delivered. I know Swindle got in a couple but they didn't stay on their website long. Haven't seen any around Spokane yet either. Be nice for an accurate date. Want to schedule the truck to get some xpel on it while weather still crappy, then linex....

Am trading my 13 Raptor. That was an easy order. Ordered Labor day, got it about 6 or 7 weeks later. This 7 months to get built BS leaves a bad taste.

Bad taste indeed. Additionally, I just plugged my VIN into the window sticker generator, for the first time, and came up with a full graphics package Avalanche, orange accent interior, bed extender, bed divider, tailgate applique, and missing the technology package. Just texted my sales guy, and he was at a loss--said he'd check on it tomorrow when he gets to work. Better be a mistake! I've waited too long for them to completely F up my order.

Not sounding good. Best of luck. Let us know outcome.

Hmmm I wonder if that's why FP still said unscheduled clean. Dealer didn't get orders mixed up? Cause that would suck as bad as getting a completely f'd up order would.

Definitely will. Dealer said to give them until tomorrow to try and determine what the hell is going on. Honestly, I like the Avalanche, but hate the graphics. Well, maybe "hate" is a bit strong, as I've seen some forum members' trucks with the graphics on the Avalanche, but I "hate" them considering the added cost. Also, the tailgate applique is not for me. Orange accent interior is fine. But still missing the technology package. Plus, I like silver because I can match it to my Stingray. All in all, an Ingot Silver with no decals and no tailgate applique is a DRAMATICALLY different looking truck than an Avalanche with full graphics package and tailgate applique. So, even though it wouldn't be the end of the world, I'm currently feeling pretty aggressive about what I've found out so far.

Who knows. I still would steer complete wide and clear of Ford Performance and Ford Service--they basically told me to take a hike, and solely communicate with my dealer at this point. I remained nothing but cordial with them the whole time, but they both developed some kind of complex, and I could feel the testiness from their words. I just hope this whole thing doesn't get out of hand. My dealer knows I'm the kind of guy that will stop what he's doing for weeks at a time, and dig in until I get things sorted out fairly. In other words, the potentially negative PR from me is very much a concern if things turn south. Most people get mad for a few days, then back to life as normal. Not me. I'm stubborn. I'm hell bent on seeing people, including myself, treated fairly. Will put everything on the back burner until the knots are untied.

Same boat here. I tend to be very forgiving of honest mistakes as long as they are corrected properly. But if you screw up, don't take responsibility or intentionally try to screw me over... You better run... Just leave the country... But that may not even help...

Just checked my BLEND build date on window sticker, and it's 2-6-17. I was told my build date was 3-20-17. So I think this whole thing is just a screw up. Guessing the salesman gave me the wrong VIN, a fellow customer's at the dealership. This Avalanche vehicle, actually, is probably either already arrived to the dealer, or will be very shortly.

Just an update to yesterday's conversation. The VIN I was given was in fact another customer's Raptor (Avalanche with full graphics and tailgate applique). My truck was ordered correctly (reportedly at this point), but it's still early enough that my VIN only produces, "Please check back later. The window sticker has not yet been released for this vehicle."

All appears to be well and good. Scheduled build date of March 20th....

Hey good luck to you guys! I feel your pain. I posted earlier in the thread that my dealer recommended taking off the beadlock wheels due to being on constraint. I was pissed, but tired of waiting for a build date (ordered mid Sept), so made the change. This was all back at the end of Jan. I got a VIN and was scheduled for a build date less than two weeks after that. But, losing the wheels took a bit of the excitement out of the whole process. So, I've been reviewing aftermarket wheel options for the last month. Last Thursday I checked Craigslist for the first time and found a guy locally that had a new set of the 17 bead lock wheels that were a take off from his new truck. Got the set for $1380 and no tax or shipping. When my truck arrives I'll sell the stockers. In the end, everything will work out and I'll actually save a few bucks. So, if any of you guys are pissed about the BL situation, keep your eyes open because they are out there. And I'm sure there will be many more available as more trucks roll out and owners upgrade to aftermarket wheels. Now let's just hope my truck arrives in good shape!
