Posted previously about battery drain on my Gen3 and several trips to dealership resulted in nothing more than charging the battery and telling me to return if problem continues or trying to sell new battery. Eventually, through posts on this forum replaced the OEM battery with a X2Power (775CCA) less than 6-months ago. Recently, in the last month getting "remote features disabled" alerts and in the last two weeks had to jump battery for it to start almost every other day.
Schedule a week ago for today specifically requesting testing to see if they can discover an issue. Tech just called and started with trying to sell me new OEM battery before any diagnostic as that is Ford's procedure. Went on to explained the current battery showing less than 360-amps. After back-n-forth, they agreed to charge current battery and run diagnostic but may not get to it today/through testing today, also may be all out of pocket depending on if they find anything. No loaner / no rental available, although at time of scheduling it was no issue.
Even with a battery tender (Victron IP65) used intermittently just can't seem to keep a battery in this beast fully charged, and drive it a minimum of 45-50 minutes round trip weekdays but not many LONG road trips.
Love this beast, but it has been constant battery drain that may be its demise...
