Balanced Out

So mine got balanced out to a 23 model which at least allowed me to get Avalanche but it cost about $6k in price hikes from my initial 22 order...expensive color change. With that said, the dealer says because it's a balanced order it gets priority over others, is that true? Also, they mentioned they can no longer change the Priority Code which I'm seeing pretty much all 23 builds showing Priority Code 19 which is what mine is.

Priority codes don't mean diddly with specialty vehicles. Rep call dealer with allocations.

Based on your post prior to this one, your dealer didn't have a 37 PP allocation for you. Do they have one for 2023, maybe. However, it sounds like they've been dangling a carrot in front of you up until now.

Well boys Ford balanced out my 22 and just got my production email Oct 17 avalanche 37. Ordered dec 21. 6k more but wtf it's msrp.

Thats what i was wondering, Do they send orders based on longest wait times, or dealer allocations. In other words, if im the first to place a 23 order with my dealer, will i have a chance of getting mine in just as quick as a guy thats been waiting a while from another dealer? I wouldnt think they would make a large dealer wait on their allocations because some orders on the other side of the country havent been delivered yet. Looks like they would ration them out between dealers.

This. The Raptor isn’t just an ordinary allocation. Rather, it’s an allocation within an allocation. Sounds crazy, right? Back in 21, Ford’s build & price website listed the 37 PP as an option you could select…just like selecting pro power or any other option you wanted. A number of us, myself included, thought this was the way! WRONG! We quickly learned the 35 & 37 PP trucks were separate allocations. So why list it as an option that one could simply pick from a laundry list of option to spec out their truck to begin with.

As @Adrenlin said, verify the number of 37 PP allocations your dealer will be getting and go from there. Be specific! Don’t let them snub you for a third time?

ETA- seeing quite a few over on the g14 forum. First Raptor though, nearly all are King Ranch
