Balanced Out

Ordered 21 in May of 21. That got canceled and ordered my 22 in Nov 21. Just found out my 22 got balanced out yesterday. Price went up 6k plus dealer wants another 3k adm for a 23. ‍‍‍‍‍

Order banks weren't open in May of 2021. I'm assuming the dealer had you on a list at that point, and no actual order was actually placed in May. I'll be willing to bet that your dealer never even had an allocation for you given what you are saying.

Just wandering if ANY Raptors landed on your dealers’s lot at all, retail or stock? If so, ever asked their reasoning for getting skipped over…twice? As @WestTXRaptor6 stated, you might want to look elsewhere. I feel a 23 order may suffer the same fate...for you at least. Plenty of dealers out there man; just gotta weed out the bad ones.

I would have assumed the trucks in-production would not be balanced out

Correct. A truck with a VIN cannot be balanced out.

So i ordered a 37PP and I was 2nd on the list behind my buddy who also ordered a 37PP. So for 2021 my dealer received 2 total raptors. 1 was my buddy's 37PP and 1 was a 35. For 2022 my dealer said he got 2 stock orders (both 35s) from Ford and not any of his retail orders. I have to ride it out with this dealer now. Its hard to find msrp or low adm dealers in CA. I reached out to some out of state MSRP dealers but they cant sell to out of state buyers because of the low production numbers.

i duno. It was ordered whenever the order banks opened then. June? July?

So mine got balanced out to a 23 model which at least allowed me to get Avalanche but it cost about $6k in price hikes from my initial 22 order...expensive color change. With that said, the dealer says because it's a balanced order it gets priority over others, is that true? Also, they mentioned they can no longer change the Priority Code which I'm seeing pretty much all 23 builds showing Priority Code 19 which is what mine is.
