Can anyone confirm if the brackets in the raptor reverse light kit are different from the ones in this link. They appear to be the same and only lacks the vehicle specific harness for $100 savings.

The S2s in the Raptor Reverse kit are identical to the S2s you linked. However the Raptor reverse kit includes the extra harnesses you need to tap into the brakes AND 2 spacer washers, which help allow the bracket to sit flush on the back of the truck. It uses factory bolts on your truck to hold the light on though.

You could make the S2 reverse kit work with some washers of your own and making your own harness. The reverse kit makes it easier to install however.

We keep all the Baja lights in stock at our site if you are looking.

The Raptor specific hardware in the various BD kits are what I call the “Raptor Tax”. It is a significant added expense but does make things plug and play. Depending on how handy you are you can make your own of most things, but not all. This would be an easy one to do, however.

A new owner!

The two "holes" in the bumper were driving me crazy. Just had the Baja Designs Tri-Fog Pro Light Kit installed. They are awesome. Wanted to give a thank you to the following:

1. Baja Designs for making a great lighting system. Tri-Fog Kit switched; #1 Two inner drive and two middle (half diffuse and half driving), # 2 Two outside diffuse. Decided on Baja Designs vs. Rigid because of interchangeable lenses and better design.

2. Apollo Optics in Houston, TX who were out of the lights, but arranged for a drop shipment to speed up delivery and even offered a 10% discount.

3. Bent Motorsports for doing a very sanitary install. Having done hundreds (they are right down the road from Baja in San Marcos, CA), the job was completed quickly and very inexpensively.

I would highly recommend all three.

Baja Designs *Unofficial* Night Run | Last Dollar Road, CO | 7/19 (Time: TBD)

Are you attending FJ Summit in Ouray, CO? Or do you happen to live near Telluride, Ridgway, or Ouray?
Bailey is looking for people that are interested in a Night Run up Last Dollar Road. The plan is to meet near the airport in Telluride and take Last Dollar towards Ridgway.

Date: 7/19
Time: TBD

If you're interested, please message Bailey (here)

Thanks!
Baja Designs

Here is a shot of the Last Dollar Road lookout during the evening:

Another option:
If there is enough interest, we can catch the sunset and then finish the trail in the dark.
