Ok I found Fuse #62 10amp blown.

Is a single set of Squadron Racers too much for this 10amp circuit?

Why is Aux1 10amp and the other appear to be 15?

@Baja Designs
There is still a Raptor supplement manual ... right ?

I have a 2022 37" with the factory fogs changed out to Baja Designs S1 and Squadron Pros jumperrd together on the factory headlight fog switch wiring, and a set of Squadron Racers on the factory Aux 1.

so, 6.6 + 2.840 = 9.440 @ 13.8v calculated via detailed specs given by B/D. so if voltage is lower, you will need...

Wait for it...

MORE amps

From above, a drop to 13.0 amps is enough to hit the magic 10.0 or close enough to it.

When you get fancy new off road lights, if you don’t know exactly what you’re doing, it’s best to ask FIRST, before the blown fuses. Why?
Because it doesn’t always take a shift in the variables of Ohm’s law to create a blown fuse, it could also be caused by poor electrical connections, severely bent wires, broken multi-strand conduit, a shorted circuit, even a once overloaded circuit could be damaged enough to create an overload scenario, drawing more current than the fuse will allow.

Remember:

Only YOU can prevent Raptor fires.
Violating Newton’s laws carries a mandatory minimum sentence.
Violating Ohm’s law also carries a mandatory minimum sentence.

Either re-wire the circuit with a lesser load, or put a relay on the circuit.
ETA: Hire someone to rewire the circuit correctly.

This should qualify for some sort of bingo... thread reanimation, highjacking, sumpin....

The only thing wired to the AUX 1 is a single pair of Squadron Racers. Like I said I used the OEM rigid fog light wiring locations and connectors. Those are split from the factory between the headlight fog switch and AUX1.

The S1 Pro and Squadron Pros are jumped together on the factory headlight switch which is separate from AUX 1 and those are not what had a blown fuse.

From what I see from earlier in the thread, the AUX 1 is just not sufficient for high-powered aftermarket lights with it being a 10a circuit.

This is unfortunate since it's obviously the most convenient to connect to when you have multiple pairs of lights.

It seems like I just have to move the Squadron racers off of AUX1 by adding a harness that connects to another upfitter switch rated for 15a.

I guess I just figured the Baja Designs kit and harness would come with relays since it is a packaged kit for raptor specific application. There were no harnesses with relays in the set.

My other question is what is the rating for the factory headlight fog light switch? I have the S1 and Squadron Pros all on that and I guess I don't know if I need to change that too.

Yikes. That doesn’t make it better. Lots more potential impact here. Overloading any of the network circuits can lead to a bricked module under the wrong circumstances. Wiring through the truck is very thin multi strand wire very close to capacity. IDK what the factory fogs draw, but I’m betting less than 9-10 amps.

I’ve heard the solid state relays could be used to accessorize but I’ve not done it. I just put the lights on the up fitters with relays.

I don't quite understand the gen 3 upfitter switches and their amperage ratings etc.

I have a 2022 37" with the factory fogs changed out to Baja Designs S1 and Squadron Pros jumperrd together on the factory headlight fog switch wiring, and a set of Squadron Racers on the factory Aux 1.

I am not familiar with where the fuses and connections are since I used all the factory connection points.

Last night my Aux 1 Squadron Racers went out.
now that we know its a gen 3, we can answer correctly. which i believe it has been already
