If you put the truck in Sport mode the ESS is deactivated. Is that what happened?I'm trying to figure out why my auto start stop for some reason stopped working on it's own...

That's what I'm thinking. I thought maybe it was because I was due for an oil change. That the truck knows it's running old oil and it doesn't let the truck stop and start because of it. But I changed the oil and reset the oil reminder... Still no auto start stop. I'll scan it and see if any errors pop up.One possibility I can think of is that you have an as yet unrecognized electrical or battery issue.
