Auto Lift tension adjustment-Tailgate

Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the auto-lift tailgate whether through forscan or ???. use case, when I am parked on an incline (driveway) and I engage the auto tailgate to bring it back up, it will get there ALMOST, and bounce back down. Level ground is fine most of the time.

I feel like its weak from the factory, it so slow and sluggish
