August 4th Reno/NorCal Raptor run

I'll add you to the list! We could re-run the first leg of the run on the way out of town, it runs along I-80...just an idea, and there are a couple different trails in the area. Nv Guy would know more.

BTW, where are you coming from MB? Sounds like we might have a nice little convy coming from the Sacramento Area. So we might want to set-up a meeting spot in/near Sacramento. I would love to see 4 to 5 Raptors in a convoy rolling into Reno.

Some random thoughts regarding rooms. The Casinos downtown tend to have parking garages & they can get a bit tight height & width wise, so the best choices for rooms with good parking might be the outlying places like the Pepermill, Atlantis, Grand Sierra, or John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks. We did get the wife's CC FX4 into the garage at the Eldorado downtown, but some ****** gave us a souvenir door ding..

I agree with avoiding the garages downtown, although there is a parking lot across from Circus Circus that appears to be for trailers and oversize vehicles... maybe we can sweet talk the hotel into letting us park in there. Our trucks are over sized aren't they?

I think the Peppermill would be good. A co-worker just spent a weekend up there, and said that it was really nice. The Atlantis is pretty decent too, I was there for a Chinese New Year party, and had a good time.
