Can we use math to figure what the SuperCrew will score? Assuming Ford didn't increase travel, it will be at around a 628, right? Or is it not that simple?

No... the 'crew will go further or less far up the ramp, relative to its wheelbase.

On wheels...

it is not weight that matters it is inertia... in other words if a wheel tire combe weighes a great deal and all the weight is near the middle of the combo it does not matter because it will have far lower angular momentum.

A lighter combo with weight further away from the centre may well perform worse.

Going to a heavier tire adds weight AWAY from the centre of the wheel tire combo, and that is the worst place to do with it. Assuming that the tires weigh 14 lbs more each and you buy a wheel that weighs fourteen lbs less you are still going to have a wheel combo that accelerates brakes and turns worse than stock.

Froggy didn't mention the weight's affect on the suspension performance which is also impacted by the extra weight.

Of course there might be advantages having a wider tread and contact patch and possibly (hopefully) a better performing tire in terms of traction but that's yet to be determined (if ever) in this case.
