I don't know if anything will happen to your axle with your current set up. I know you go hard in the dirt but if you push it hard enough to break axles and housings you'll be pushing the limits of the rear shocks and bump
Stops pretty good. Now I you do something like a low pro cage and a sprung under set up like jarrett or Charlie the. If definitely say truss that **** lol but I'm sure you're headed that direction anyways lol

Well, that's done. I think I'm pushing my luck at this height but I went another 3/8" higher or so. Just enough to break that level look point. Thanks rasco!

A truss will be a good idea. The last time my truck was aligned they found that my rear housing is bent. I am holding off on fixing it for now till I decide what I am doing for more rear travel. May end up replacing the rear end and don’t really want to spend the money twice.

How can something that big and heavy and solid twist/turn/buckle ??
I know it will sustain impacts over a100G's.

You'd be surprised. First you have to consider the constant abuse it takes when racking up as many miles as Gordon has. It often times isn't just one hit that does it.

I bent mine in Death Valley. I was going way to fast on some whoops and came up on a turn and I either had to slow or fly off the road into some brush. I probably chose wrong and slowed. The truck began donkey kicking back and forth so violently it bent an axle shaft. Well when I went to get the new one swapped out they said they had trouble putting it in because the housing was bent. So, 100g hits or not they do bend.
