Pretty much what Ive been seeing, glad to see Im not the only wierdo. Was raised in a house where u never touch the headliner, no feet on dash and towels on seats from day one. Pops has a 93 f350 that still has never had towels off.
This truck Im just trying to avoid the wear spots and the sweaty sticking to the armrest.
Microfiber or bandana might do fine for now. Thanks for advice

My armrest still looks new after 20 months/ 20,000 miles and about 40 hunts/ year out of that truck.
I wouldn’t worry about it.

I'm looking for something but for a different reason. Most of my truck is gray but the armrest is black, think I have burnt my arm for the last time. CJponyparts seems to have a few.

I got this one off Amazon when I first got my truck in December. I used a couple pieces of 3M tape on the sides and it’s held up well here in AZ.

I went with the vinyl carbon fiber one from ebay to quell the footprints of my massive furry passenger

I had very low expectations being 20 bucks, but I love it! new passengers thought it was original, and it just about disappears. I liked that it didn't have any permanent fasteners or 3m tape to mess with the factory lid, so i can throw it away whenever i want and easily go back stock. It fits better than i would have expected, 10:10 would buy again

I went back and forth between this cover and the "faux leather/diamond stiched" offering.

I ended up wit this: (Link)

No tape for install, uses a couple elastic bands like others have posted. Just like @RustyNutz (lol) was trying to mitigate the damage from the furry family member.

Microfiber here

Essentially did this but with different intent haha. Hated the OEM leather quality so bought a replacement lid and had it wrapped in alcantara
