I try to be a studious driver. I got such a recognizable truck that I can't drive like an ass and use my train horn all the time. Lol....

One of the supervisors at work told me one day that I pulled out in front of his wife while leaving the plant. I don't remember doing such a thing, but if I do pull out, I go. I guess the wife was impressed that she never had to hit the brakes. I guess I was the topic of dinner discussion that night. Lol... he said all his kids love my truck and I'm a rock star to them. Hahaha! I'm just an engineer.

You sure you weren't in the movie "rock of ages" then.

Im one of those 50+ Raptor guys, and i KNOW what I have - wish I could have afforded it sooner. I'm not in the $200K/yr crowd that can afford all the cool shit out there for my truck, but I surely dont snub others who can afford it. Maybe its an AZ Desert thing, but I get plenty of waves whenever I see another Raptor on the road.

I think you might be correct. I've also noticed this, and I'm not sure if the other raptor owner feels a little less value seeing another raptor beside them, or maybe just the attitude. Ido find myself trying to be a little less agressive on the road to just avoid the ****** bag level that most bmw owners are.

I'm like those owners of the hottest car on the fwy. I drive in the slow lane doing the speed limit. Basically saying, "What do I have to prove?" And I alway come in last place by letting everyone in. Sucks, but I do. This truck has made me patient on the road for some reason.

I have this exact same mentality. I just slow roll with nothing to prove. Guys always pull up beside me at stop lights and want to race like the Raptor was made for racing... I say sure, then let them smoke me off the line while I turn into Home Depot.

Hahaha!!! Folks need to realize that this is a heavy truck. And with my motor they'll smoke me no matter what. But race me off road with all the power you got. Good bye!

Not that I would ever have the reason to get into a high speed chase. But if I did, I know where I'm going. It would be quite the entertainment for the folks at home. LOL!!!

The races have helicopters chasing. I'll have Apache's on my ass!

hmmm.... i became more of an ass after i got the truck. less patient with dumb drivers. although it became more prominent with the addition of lights and train horns.

I've got a bone to pick.

Is it just me or do a ton of total complete ****** bags drive raptors now?

When I fist purchased my 13' raptor here in Michigan, I saw maybe one or two other raptors in a month.

Now I see at least 2-3 a day.

This is fine with me. Yeah, it kind of sucks I don't have a very original truck anymore - but there is nothing I can do about that.

The problem is, the raptors I do see these days are mostly driven by ********.
I absolutely hate being associated with this group of people.

I went to lunch today at applebees and a truck came in and parked like a ******. It would have taken two seconds to adjust his parking.

Furthermore, whenever I drive my old 1994 corvette, anyone else in a corvette (new or old) waves to me. When I'm in my raptor, I'll wave to someone else driving a raptor and I have yet to get a wave back (I've waved to at least 10 people by now without a response).

And lastly, most of the guys I see driving look like your typical *****.

Am I alone in this opinion?
Hey man I'm from mi too if you see me I'll wave I'm not a ****** haha uploadfromtaptalk1433153262527.jpg

Hilarious.

Not waving to others because their truck is in stock form...

My truck is stock. I use it to haul Amazon boxes to the dump.

I couldn't give two ***** that your truck has bumpers/lights/winches etc.

Sorry I'm not fast roping into a hot LZ like all you high speed low drag operators.

At the end of the day I know my **** is still bigger than yours.

Most of the raptors I see around here are driven by soccer dads living in suburbia on their .25 acre lots crammed next to other homes. Guess having a bad ass truck makes them feel good about themselves?
