Are the ****** bags taking over?

It's gotten the same way around here. When my mom first got hers there was very few around and that was Sept 14. When me and my wife got both of ours in Jan 15 people looked everywhere we went. Now 6 months later I see them nearly every day and nobody seems to blink an eye when they see one now. But when I drive the Mustang or Vette both 2015's I get compliments constantly even though there are tons of them around. Might have a lot to do with people associating them with ass holes even though I'm not one of them.... I drive mine sensible but the teens with lifted trucks give everyone a bad taste because they're tearing up all of the ditches anywhere they can find mud since there's no where to off-road within 2hrs.

I park like a "*********" all the time, just far away from entrances where all the fat people don't park, but im considerate of drivers and don't ride their ass's on the hwy. So if that's being a *********, welcome me to the club I guess, whatever!

We can be ********** together because I do the same thing. I park at the very end of the lot though and make sure nobody can park close enough to me that they can ding my truck with their door or whatever. It's not so much that I'm being a **** it's more because nobody respects other people's property anymore. Most don't even take care of their own vehicles so they couldn't give a shit about what they do to someone else's.

Slow your roll there spunky--I am one of those 50+ owners and I know what I have.
Actually, Reno is weird, I only see Raptors going the other way, and usually I am in my wife's truck or company vehicle, so waving is pointless.
The few times I have managed to wave I usually don't get a response because of the speed differential.
There also seems to be large number of posers here- I have to run with a CA goombahs...so come out, I need to see more NV plates on the trails.

Not all. Just most. I run a wheel shop and most of the guys that come in to the shop say it's too pretty to go in the dirt. One of those same guys was using it as his work truck and had the bed so overloaded with rocks when he came in. It was pretty much sitting on the bump stops. I don't get some people

The good thing about the Raptor is the side step acts like door ding guards because the door hits those, not the truck. Of course SUV's and truck's are different.

I still have a lot of people say "nice truck" and I always say thanks. If they ask more questions I'll answer but if they just expect me to stop and start talking to them... sorry. I'm too busy to play guess who wants to talk and who is just saying nice truck

Yep I'm the same exact way. I get people almost everyday when I stop somewhere that come up to me and compliment my truck and say how much they like it and wish they were able to buy one. I'm always nice and try to answer any questions they have. When I had my Roush one alot of them would want me to pop the hood and check it out and that's when I would nicely say I didn't have that much time. If I wasn't doing anything I sometimes would pop it but it became a pain in the ass because it harder to get them to leave. Lol. I actually probably get it just as much when I'm driving my Shelby which I'm the same way with.

This is funny because I am a professional truck driver and my supervisor generally refers to us as **********, though never to my face.

In my field of work we all wave to each other, and while driving the Raptor I always try to wave or flash my lights to other Raptor owners. I don't take owning a Raptor for granted and I know how hard I had to work to get to a point where I can afford nice things. So I try to acknowledge others that have had to make sacrifices in order to afford a Raptor.

With that being said, don't refer to me as a ********* just because I did wave. just saying.
