Here in Northeast Alabama, Raptor sightings seem to be scarce. The coolest thing that did happen is I was on my way towing a car hauler loaded with atvs. We were in the middle of no where. I look and there is a guy outside washing a raptor and he flags me down and had many questions to ask about my mods and interior work I do.
In the city, none of them ever wave. I doubt they even know what they are driving. I was in Huntsville one day and literally had to explain what his Raptor was to him. He said, "wow that's impressive, I just saw it on the lot and it looked cool."
Then there are the dealership guys. Me and a buddy passed a dealership with a clean used 2013 on the lot and he's been looking for a Raptor. I called and a salesman picked up. I said, "Yes I have a few questions about the 2013 Raptor on the lot." I got a 5 second pause and the salesman said, "sir, you realize you are on the phone with a ford dealership?" After telling him that I was interested in the F-150 Raptor at their dealership he put me on hold and I assume he went and asked another salesman what I was talking about because he came back on the phone and said "certainly sir, I have the information right here."
