There is more ware and tare on your turbos when you upgrade to the bigger intercooler. When you tune it the tune it make the turbos run slower cause you have so much more cooling with the bigger intercooler

If my knowledge prevails, all that an intercooler does is send cooler air to the turbos. Of course I could be wrong too.
