Are 2022 orders still being scheduled for production?

I believe that originally MY23 Scheduling was to begin this week but looks like its been pushed two weeks.

What the difference between ordering banks and scheduling? My dealer tells me their not able to take orders yet, for some reason. Maybe their waiting for the scheduling date. Is that the date they get their official allocations?

Sounds like you have a clueless dealer. Order bank & scheduling mean just that…order bank for 23MY opened on the aforementioned date and scheduling of 23MY will begin in a few weeks. You need to drop that dealer, quick! You might be the last man on the totem pole to order & may wind up being assed out.

I think at this dealer, they won’t order until they get there allocations. He assured me that as soon as they give him the green light, he will call, and that he checks every morning on the status. No one at this dealer has ordered one yet, so it’s not just him. They were able o order the R tho, when it came out last month, just not the regular raptor. Hopefully I’ll be hearing something soon.

My understanding is that if they were going to get an allocation, they would already know what it is. The dealers I've dealt with in the past knew how many they had when the banks opened. They made claims against those allocations. Anything beyond that is wishful thinking from my experience. I don't know that my assertion is correct, just my experience thus far in the ordering process (I've ordered three thus far since 2013.)

That's kind of a bummer, but the production dates did not get pushed back, so that is definitely good news!

I am assuming you have a '22 on order? I can't imagine this relating to '23s since scheduling hasn't begun yet...

So I guess they are still getting the old 2022 orders in... My buddy, who ordered back in October 2021 like I did, same dealer, (I got mine in late April), finally got his "scheduled" email yesterday! Go figure. But thought it might help those still waiting. Getting a 22 may help the pricing challenges that may come along with moving to a 23.
