Applique- fan or not?

It looks good on the blue in person from a distance. I agree, if it was plain with no FORD written across it I think it would be even better. I have seen some trucks with black wrap on the tailgate in the same area that look really nice.

I ordered my AG without. One less thing to worry about. I like the look of the tailgate as is anyway.

No logo would be great. Or even a regular sized logo would be OK.

Its not like the raptor is going to be mistaken for a Nissan Frontier. No need to go overboard with FORD lettering.

FWIW, I voted "no" also, both on the poll and on my truck order.

It's hideous IMO. Just so unbelievably tacky. Same with the stickers. Maybe if it was just a black colored panel it could be interesting, but when I close my eyes to try and imagine it the giant FORD letters won't leave. They haunt my dreams...

I went back and forth with this issue in the end I"m getting it on a Oxford white. The applique definitely screams Raptor. The plain tailgates look like the rest of the 125 line IMO

Mine doesnt have it and i wish it did. Had i ordered the truck i would have got it. I wish i could trade my dual panel sunroof for the applique, tailgate step, and bed extender. Oh well.

You could always buy a replacement tailgate with step and appliqué.

I got it. Went back & forth also...figured if there's a FORD on the grille, I might as well be symmetrical and put it on the back also, haha!!!

Before the post that finally showed the appliqué tailgate is made differently than the standard, I thought there might be some aftermarket versions of the appliqué w/o the FORD. Still kinda holding out hope. I do like the color contrast, just not the letters.

Personally I'd rather not have FORD on either end. I think it looks tacky. The Raptor design of the truck stands on its own as a Ford w/o slathering the brand in huge letters all over it.
