What’s wrong with you people’s right foot? If you want the throttle open further push the pedal harder.

The throttle ramp % is too flat for me in normal mode and too manic in sport. I want a quicker ramp at 30% to 70% throttle or thereabouts, but similar to stock at the other percentages. Full throttle will still be full throttle, but if pressing the pedal gets a quicker response to the engine which spools the turbos quicker and makes the truck more responsive, I’m thinking I’ll really like it. I don’t like laggy throttle response.

The Banks one seems the best engineered from my reading and watching and he has a great rep, so I ordered one and will give it a shot.

I'm confused. Where is all this terrible turbo lag you are trying to get rid of? It has 510 at 3500 with a 10 speed trans? I don't have noticeable lag on my 2020. It does what my foot tells it to do, and it's immediate. If I roll into the throttle from a stop it lights up the rears. You make it sound like it can't get out of it's own way unless you "fix" it. I would check your tune if it's like you describe.
Do you notice a throttle difference between normal and sport mode? If so, it's like that but you can dial it exactly where you want, without the sometimes bad shifts that sport mode provides.

I’m stock tune in my 2019. It just feels like if I give it 20% throttle, I get 10% 30% throttle in normal mode, I get 20% actual throttle. If I give it 50%, I get closer to 50% and beyond is linear and fine.

I just want to give it 30% throttle and get more like 40% waking the truck up and making it feel faster. I basically want sport mode, but a bit different curve. I’ll play with the 10 power levels in the city and sport setting to find the throttle calibration that works best for me.

If you like the stock throttle mapping, then have at it. I think it can be improved and make the truck feel more responsive and less laggy. Even split second improvements in getting the turbos to spool quicker can make truck feel more peppy IMHO.

I definitely noticed the throttle difference, I didn't care for the trans performance in sport. I thought the shift pattern was annoying on the street in sport. I guess I just adjusted to the throttle quickly in normal mode, and never really thought about it after a few hundred miles. I know on my race bikes I normally would switch to a different cam profile on the throttle tube so it would open quicker, with much less movement

Maybe you ****'s need to exercise your right foot more!! :mwah1:

That’s exactly what I want and apparently the Banks gives me 30 curves between 3 different maps for city, sport, and track. Can’t wait to find the one that works best for me.

I’m glad the Berger is working great for you. Watching the video the pedal commander taps the 5 volt circuit for the throttle and that’s not enough juice which kills the pedal commander and causes limp mode. I’m guessing yours doesn’t and neither does the Banks since it uses the 12V OBD2 port for power.

I’ve never bought one of these gizmos before because I thought they were snake oil and I’ve had a lot of cars/trucks. I just think the normal mode throttle mapping could be more responsive so I’m trying out the Banks.

Even a 1/4 to half second quicker response time in depressing the throttle to getting the engine to wake up (meaning a 3.5L TT V6 strapped to a ~6,000lb) truck will be a noticeable improvement for me.

Maybe they have size 7 boots or something. I’ve never understood spending hundreds of dollars to be able to push the gas pedal less. Marketing must be fantastic.

Size 12. If I can get 50% throttle at 30% application and you are getting 30% at 50% application, you’ll lose the race every single time. ;)

Bro... I haven't bought any high dollar bumper lights or ceramic coating, I don't NEED them either. Are you chatting up those threads too? This sub $200 device does what it says it's going to, I use it every day and I would get another one in a heartbeat. Again, it works as advertised, it may not add power but it makes the daily driving experience much more enjoyable.

I haven't worn size 7 boots since the 4th grade when I parked under your... nevermind.;)
