Anyone take their Gen3 2021 Raptor VIN and get an insurance quote?

God I wish if the cost would be less. I’m expecting full coverage to end up somewhere around 1600-1900 for the full year.

I got a quote using the VIN on my not yet delivered 2021. I live in Idaho, no tickets. Safeco with whom my 2019 Raptor is insured was $1755 per year. The 2017 is $655. The agent could not explain it. AAA doubled the coverage to 500/500 and stipulated OEM replacement parts for $689 on the 2021. AAA also cost less to insure the other two vehicles.

Think it’s generally a Florida thing as to higher insurance rates. Certain laws cause the cost to be high here. Full coverage includes a free windshield replacement every year if there is a big enough crack. Other things regarding fault for accidents make it all higher here

When my agent ran my new Raptor it didn’t recognize the VIN yet so he had to manually input, came out to $3,600/year which is more than 3x what I was paying for a new Audi. They finally had to input it as a regular lariat and it came way way down.
