I see these are 17x9 with a 12 offset...
I see a lot of other wheel options as a 17x8.5 with a 1 or 0 offset.

Does this make the stance the same or do they 17x8.5s +0 stick out just a tad further?

They're pretty similar to one another.

Stock wheel is 17x8.5 +34 offset.

A 17x8.5 0 offset wheel is pushed out 1.34" over stock.
A 17x9 +12 offset wheel is pushed out 1.12" over stock.

So roughly 1/4" difference between the two.

The VR wheels are known for fitting flush with the edge of the fender flare.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Just thinking of a future setup and which offset would look best. Likely new geisers, or just going 3.0 factories all around with option 2 icon leafs.
so with the increased height I want the truck to have the right stance that won’t interfere or rub fenders off-roading

I have King 3.0 with Deavers +3.
Went with 17" and have zero issues with rub with wheel at full lock.
Can't comment on off-road issues but the weight reduction was a major deciding factor for me
