I have a bone stock (suspension wise) 2017. I got the RPG adjustable collars and they are getting installed on Thursday. I see there are 5 settings. The middle one being 2.25". Im debating between setting #2 which I believe to be 1.75 inch and the setting #3 which is 2.25. I dont want the nose up. I want level or just a little nose down. Anyone have any experience with which setting works best ??

In the middle slot, you'll be very close to level. Every truck is a bit different, but bone stock in the rear and RPGs in the middle slot up front, optically mine is level, and with the tape measure, it's 1/8" higher in the rear.

Did they explain why they recommend the collars over springs?

They are a Raptor shop and do lots of builds.
Said they have had aftermarket springs break and never had an issue with collars on factory springs. I got the feeling that they don't feel they offer anything over collars and if you are going to upgrade , new shocks are the next logical upgrade.

Ok. Thanks! I have a 19 and have went back and forth on either collars or springs and I finally purchased some rpg collars a couple days ago but I am still worried about compromising the ride quality. I've read some posts where some people say they collars make the ride stiffer and some say it didnt change the ride! So who knows! I guess I'll find out soon enough.

I think the ride improved, less brake diving into turns etc.. I didn't notice much a change at all

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns

I just got a set of the Icon collars and debating on 1.5 or 1.75? Icon recommends on their website to set at 1.5, but why make them adjustable if they recommend 1.5?
