3rd day of owning my truck had some smuck in a new jeep cherokee pull up beside me in a 1 lane road in each direction with gravel up ahead for him.
Light turned green and he hammered it......... SO DID I.
Needless to say he was eating my dust with a few stones.

To answer the question, Yeah, I've raced her whenever I get the chance. I love the look on Mercedes, Mustangs, or those Hemi Grand Cherokees faces when they can't pull the rag out :)
Haven't been beat yet, but knowing where the powerband is helps - sometimes ya got to play possum until the right moment to mash the pedal through the floorboard...

I'm not saying I don't believe you, but how does a Maserati lose a race to a Raptor (without an s/c)????

Raced a rock buggy down a sand wash. I came around a corner that led into a long straight away and there he was, sittin there with a shit eatin grin waiting for me. We both hammered down and for a moment I thought I was going to get smoked. All I could hear was the sound of his v8 go from a crackle to a space evading roar. I kept my foot in it, by the time I got to the top of 2nd, I could hear I put a few lengths on him. I clicked it into third and proceeded to tickle the rev limiter. By this time I could only hear the scream of my engine and the interior jolts of my truck as it flew across the wash. I hesitated for a bit, deciding if moving the shifter into D to reach 4th gear was needed or not. I didn't know how far he was behind me, I wasn't going to break concentration and look, I sure as hell wasn't going to loose, but the truck was unstable enough and more speed wasn't going to help. So I'm thinking 4th or not, 4th or not when my friend says "he's so far back there, I think he gave up!" Whew, what a relieve, I lol. It would've been a bad deal if the Raptor lost her first race.

Neither does the Chrysler TC by Maserati.

That is exactly what I was thinking.

I used to work for an attorney in college. One of the other guys was bragging about his mom's Maserati. He described it a little more. Apparently, my smirk pissed him off because he snapped at me. "What's so damn funny?" I just said "Its a TC, isn't it?" He fired back "Yeah, so what?" I couldn't contain myself and burst out laughing, "Dude, you've been bragging about a LeBaron." And then confused and angry... "No, its a Maserati." And then me, grinning from ear to ear "OK...Its a Maserati that started life as a LeBaron. Look it up." He never bragged about it again.
