I'd get the 2.7 Those things are pretty dang quick with a tune.
Bull **** on the 2.7 being garbage but yes the 3.0 would be better. The 2.7 is garbage like the other guys posts. The 3 liter with 400 HP would have been lots better. The F150 with the 2.7s are also weak sauce.

If you visit the F150 forums the 2.7 is probably the most trouble free engine in the F150 line up.I drove a 2.7 liter F150 once, and told myself I would never ever mess with that motor. The graphite composite block is about the only positive I see. The two fuel injectors are a mess, and it appears that motor would be better suited for diesel use since it is built like one. The Raptor Bronco will have a 3 or 3.5 liter twin turbo.

Those are actually the specs when using regular gas. On premium:Wrong again.
From the Ford web site:
- Bronco 2.3L: 270 hp, 310 ft-lbs
- Bronco 2.7L: 310 hp, 400 ft-lbs
And the Ford web site says that EPA fuel economy figures are not yet available.
The 2.7 actually has the largest take rate of all the F150 engines at 35%.Makes sense since it has the smallest take rate out of any of the F150 engine offerings.
