Nope. There's been no news. I would bet since Ford hasn't said anything about the 2024 updates, we've got a while yet before order banks open.

I had a dealer (sales manager) tell me yesterday that Ford was not accepting retail orders on MY24 specialty vehicles like the Raptor, etc. He said it was announced to the dealers earlier this month.
Anyone else heard this or was this dealer lying to me for absolutely no reason??

Well usually they lie to benefit themselves. Couldn't see how telling me that was benefiting them in any way. Fine, I won't order a truck from you, see ya.
I've seen them lie to look knowledgeable. I've seen Service Advisors lie for fun. But, yeah, I'd expect an advantage. Maybe they were hoping to either sell you something off the lot or make you go away and stop wasting their time. Dunno.

The dealer I’m trying to order from said 9/13. Credit to one of the posters here who relayed 9/13 several weeks ago

I read that the 2024 F150 orders will open up on the first day of the Detroit auto show, like 9/13...?
