his best bet is a cordless dremel with the 2 inch disc. most accurate cuts that way

7" is big on a 4 1/2" grinder, you're better off with 6"angle grinder 100%. if you're comfortable try and use a 7" cutting disc, makes easy work of it

I cut about 1/4 of an inch off mine. Fits fineCurious as to what guys are doing for engine skid plates when they are doing frame cut bumpers as the stock engine skid hangs down a bit and it doesn't line up with the bottom of the bumper skid plate cleanly.
