IIRC It was like 20mm bump out middle of the bumper.

As long as it lines up between two studs, you're golden.

My Screw fit in one houses garage...moved and now it cant fit.. this doesn't really help at all. But yeah like others have said a builder can say the garage is X big but after drywall and everything its Y which could be a few inches bigger or smaller as in my house now.

As long as it lines up between two studs, you're golden.

Those studs would need to be 105” on center, (with a header beam).
